My Most Memorable Christmas

My most memorable Christmas was when I was four and I was adopted by my mother Shannon and my dad Curt Gessner and my two older brothers Nolan and Griffin. That is the most memorable time of my life because I had my own family.And I still have my family and I love them so much and i'm thankful to have them in my life. And I think people don't understand that any more about christmas, it's not about the presents under the tree, it's about the people you share christmas with on that day.

My best Christmas gift was a blanket I got from my moms grandma Lily. She made it for me, I like those kinda things that you can have with you forever.

My Favorite Christmas Traditions

My favorite tradition in Christmas is to sit by the tree on Christmas Eve. Before we go to my dad's mom's house for Christmas Eve, We open our presents from each other and then we just laugh and visit. Then we go to grandma's and the kids go down stairs and watch a movie or play wii or play pool while the grown-ups are up stairs making supper and visiting. When we are all done with eating us kids go down and do the same thing over until one of the older ones tell me or my cousin Sarah to go upstairs to see if we can open presents. Then we all go home afterwards. Then we go to bed and then my mom wakes us up to come down and see what santa got us for Christmas. Then we all pitch in and help mom and dad clean the house before our other side of the family comes over for Christmas. And that's mostly the same too with my dads family we just sit around and visit and eat food, and then we open presents and then we visit more.
